Free Champagne at El Beso

My 3rd Buenos Aires Tango adventure,  Sunday, May 1, 2011 day 83 Margarita, my favorite dance partner from Los Consagrados milonga also goes to the Sunday afternoon Confiteria Ideal milonga and had been trying to get me to come for quite some time, so I finally decided to check it out. I had fun dancing several tandas with her there. Afterwards I walked over to my regular Sunday night milonga at El Beso. I had the pleasure of dancing a couple of tandas with Mary Ann Henderson, she was wearing a new pair of dance shoes and told me the I was the first person she danced with in them, I felt privileged. One of the fun things about the Buenos Aires milongas is they usually have a raffle every night where they giveaway a couple of prizes. The year before I won a free admission at La Nacional one evening and on this night I won a bottle of champagne at El Beso.  My friends Alejandro and Jorge can be found drinking champagne at the bar every Sunday night and usually give me a glass, so I was happy to share the champagne with them.
